How can we bring Business and Market Intelligence alive?

In the last few days we had an interesting interaction with over twenty people from a client organisation who work in this field. I had a chance to show how we can role-play competitors/ suppliers/ customers/ regulators as a way to bring data sheets to life, as well as using scenarios to illustrate how different trends observed in the market can collide and change course. The ambition always being to develop a better informed – and more robust – strategy as a result. The same evening, a lovely trip on a river with another group from the same company, who were also “living through the future in advance” in a scenario to strategy project, looking at how their supply and demand side could change in the next five year, as well as what chemical company competitors may do in the same time frame.
