Investment Climate in Minsk

I feared cold when headed to Minsk, Belarus, but it was surprisingly warm for December. The workshop’s participants engaged quickly and were not disturbed by a rather unconventional workshop-concept: Instead of presenting and discussing in plenary all the time, the client opted for an interactive format where we focused the discussions in small diverse groups. In this way, the participants had concise discussions on the topics without losing time in formalities and procedures. And while Belarus often is called “the last dictatorship in Europe”, we had a very clear and open exchange I do not always experience in countries with other labels. The format might have helped. And Minsk is indeed a beautiful city to look at!
