Running a mini-TV show

Enjoyed spending time on a TV set in Barcelona, acting as compère for the Union for Mediterranean’s Trade and Investment Forum. A different sort of virtual experience, and a demonstration of what can be done with professional means – as we brought in Ministers, EU and AU Commissioners, the President of the EIB, the Secretary General of the UfM and an outstanding array of other folks from the private sector and administration, and with an audience spread in a score of countries. Moreover, I sense that this format could compete with, or at least complete, the (physical)  conference event it replaced, as we were able to have many more participants this way than otherwise possible. I should also mention the sterling work by my co-moderator Mohammed Elrazzaz, not to mention wonderful support of Hamed El Etreby, Johannes Laepple, Alicia Figueroa Romero and the team of Abalingua!es
